9/11/01-2/02: Bravado, retreat, silence, denial, grief, anger. 
3/02- 5/02: Acceptance, quiet, slow reopening. 6/02-11/02: Looking around again. Thinking and writing.
12/02-12/03: Creating again.
1/04-6/04: Absorbing another passing.
7/04: Opening up to what I really am, now that there's nothing left but me.
8/04-12/05: Walking uphill against a small clutch of enemies. Dushman! Bazigaar! (Hindi films help float me through this period.)
12-05: Crested the ridge, free to create again.
1/06: Reading good writing, watching good films. Home with my dogs and cat on weekends, brisk winter happinesses.
3/06: Early spring chills. Accepting another's pain, creativity spirals outward.
